Home In July 2000 The Arp-Hansen Hotel Group opened its 8th hotel: Copenhagen Strand. The hotel is centrally located in the fashionable quarter in the heart of Copenhagen - around the Nyhavn Canal, The Royal Theatre and Kongens Nytorv. The exclusive 3-star hotel is situated on the waterfront in one of the harbour's original warehouses. The building dates back to 1869 and through the years it has, for instance, housed a cardboard box factory and a paper mill. The old buildings are beautifully and carefully restored, and the decor is rustic and maritime, making it one of Copenhagen's most charming hotels with a fantastic atmosphere. Copenhagen Strand is easily reached from anywhere: It is close to trains and busses, the airport and the Øresund Bridge. |
